# Spreadsheet in. One-page dashboard out.

## The four passes

1. **What you've got.** What each sheet is, and anything that looks wrong.
2. **The five numbers.** The ones to make decisions from, with one line each on why.
3. **The worry.** The risk or trend to pay attention to.
4. **The page.** Five numbers, a chart each, the risks, a two-sentence summary.

## Set-up steps

1. **Have Claude Cowork set up with a project.** You need the Claude desktop app, a project, and that project pointed at one folder on your computer. If that isn't done yet, the Starter Pack walks you through it: tuitiv.ai/free/setup.
2. **Drop the spreadsheet into the project folder.** Excel or CSV both work. If it's a Google Sheet, download it first. Don't clean it up; finding the mess is pass one's job. Take out any columns with client names or personal pay details first.
3. **Run prompt 01 and read pass one properly.** Before you look at the dashboard, read what it says is wrong. Fix anything real in your source file, then ask it to run again.
4. **Turn it into a skill.** Once you're happy with a result, run prompt 02. From then on it's /dashboard and a file drop.
5. **Schedule the refresh, if the sheet updates.** If you drop a new version of the same spreadsheet every month, prompt 04 rebuilds the dashboard on its own and tells you what changed.

## The prompts

### 01. Spreadsheet to one page

Four passes. Drop the file in the project folder, then paste this.

Read [file name] in this project folder.

Pass 1: tell me what this spreadsheet is, what each sheet contains, and anything that looks wrong: blanks, duplicates, totals that don't add up, mixed currencies or date formats. Fix only what is safe to fix and list what isn't. Don't change the original file.

Pass 2: find the five numbers that matter most for a business owner making decisions from this, and explain in one line each why they matter.

Pass 3: flag any risk or trend I should be worried about, with the numbers that show it.

Pass 4: build me a one-page HTML dashboard in my brand (clean and simple if you don't have my brand file): the five numbers at the top, one chart for each, the risks in a box, and a two-sentence summary a busy person could read in a lift.

Save it to my Outputs folder as [file name]-dashboard.html.

### 02. Turn it into /dashboard

Run once, straight after a result you're happy with.

### 03. The board version

Same numbers, written for people who have ninety seconds.

Lead with the one thing they need to decide or know. Then the five numbers, each with a one-line "so what", compared with last period if the data has it. Then the risk, and what I'm doing about it.

### 04. The scheduled refresh

For sheets you update on a cycle. Paste into a scheduled task.

On the first working day of each month, look in my [folder name] folder for the newest version of [spreadsheet name].

Run the same four passes as the /dashboard skill. Compare the five numbers with last month's dashboard and add a line under each saying what changed and whether it matters.

Save the new dashboard to my Outputs folder with the month in the file name. If the file isn't there, tell me instead of guessing.
