# The Work Redesign: let AI rebuild your week

From the tuitiv free library: tuitiv.ai/free/redesign

## The four buckets

1. **Only you can do it, and it matters.** Client work, sales conversations, the writing with your name on it, thinking time.
2. **A person should do it.** Usually two or three things you've been doing out of habit rather than necessity.
3. **Nobody should do it.** The report nobody has read since spring. The meeting that could have been a message.
4. **Repeatable, rules-based, or a first draft.** Session notes, proposals, the newsletter's first draft, follow-ups, the morning brief.

## Set-up steps

1. **Get last week out of your calendar.** If your calendar is connected to Claude, just tell it to read last week. If not, open week view and take a screenshot, or copy the list of events. Either works.
2. **Do a five-minute brain dump.** Everything you did last week that isn't in the calendar: the emails, the admin, the thing you did at 10pm. Dictate it. Messy is fine.
3. **Run prompt 01 with both pasted in.** Read the four buckets first. Move anything it got wrong and tell it why; it'll recalculate.
4. **Pick one thing from three buckets.** Not everything. One task to delegate, one to delete, one to hand to Claude. Prompts 02 to 04 help with each.
5. **Block the Keep time in your calendar.** The rebuilt week is only real once it's in the diary. Protect the Keep blocks the way you'd protect a client meeting.
6. **Run it again in a month.** Same prompt, new week. The Hand to Claude bucket should be smaller. If it isn't, that's the next thing to fix.

## The prompts

### 01. Redesign my week

Paste in your calendar and your brain dump underneath.

```
Here is everything I did last week: my calendar [paste, or read it if connected] and a brain dump of everything else [paste].
Sort every task into four buckets:
→ Keep: only I can do it, and it matters.
→ Delegate: a person should do it. Say what kind of person.
→ Delete: nobody should do it. Be honest.
→ Hand to Claude: repeatable, rules-based, or a first draft.
For each task, estimate the hours per week. For the Hand to Claude bucket, tell me what would make it happen: a context document, a skill, or a scheduled task.
Then rebuild my week: protected blocks for the Keep work, one admin block, and the earliest finishing time you can justify. Show me the total hours in each bucket and the hours I'd get back.
```

### 02. Write the delegation brief

For the one task you picked from the Delegate bucket.

```
Write a delegation brief for [task] so someone else can do it without asking me questions.
Include: what good looks like, the steps as I do them now, where the files and logins live (placeholders only, no real passwords), the decisions they can make on their own and the ones to bring to me, and how I'll check it's done.
Ask me anything you need to know first.
```

### 03. Build the first one

For the one task you picked from the Hand to Claude bucket.

```
I want to hand [task] to you every week.
Ask me up to five questions about how I do it now and what good looks like. Then do it once on this week's example: [paste].
When I'm happy with the result, turn it into a skill so I can run it with a forward slash next time.
```

### 04. The polite exit

For the thing in the Delete bucket that involves other people.

```
I've decided to stop doing [task], which [who] currently gets from me.
Draft a short, warm message telling them, what they can do instead (if anything), and when it stops. No over-apologising, no long explanation.
Under 100 words, in my voice.
```
